Alzheimer’s
and Dementia Care

Our philosophy is to deliver care and support to our clients diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Dementia disease, to maintain a high quality of life living at home.

An individual care plan will be created with input from the clients’ medical team, allied health services and family input, including social interaction, mind-stimulating activities. While monitoring the behavioural and cognitive symptoms. Providing nutritional meal plans and assisting the client with routine and daily activities.

Companionship

We strive to learn about you as a person and what is important to you, understanding your needs, hobbies and interests, personality and how together we can add value to your life.

As the relationship grows with your caregiver, the times you share together may include

Transport

If you are no longer driving or wish to be driven, In Home Care is happy to assist. Our caregivers will happily drive and assist you to:

  • Doctors and medical appointments
  • Hospital visits
  • Shopping
  • Prescription collection
  • Hairdresser/Barber appointments
  • Social outings
  • Family gatherings
  • All caregivers assist with a safe transfer in and out of the car if clients mobility allows
  • Current licence and insurance policies are up to date and checked regularly by In Home Care
