Due to the vaccine rollout all in home care staff are awaiting confirmation to when they are eligible to receive the vaccine. The latest update from the health department on the 1st of March 19, 2021 is the vaccine should be available for In home carer’s from mid-March, all staff are required to have the vaccine and all In home care staff will be having the vaccine.
With the current Corona virus we are finding many families are very concerned that their loved ones over 70 are well supported, cared for and receiving companionship during this time. Our phones have been busy offering family members the peace of mind and security that their loved ones can continue to live their lives in their home with our care. Our care givers are trained and adhere to all required infection control protocols at all times. All staff carry and wear PPE with all clients, also staff have had the influenza vaccination for 2020. In Home Care is regularly updating all staff in Corona virus hygiene and best practice, in line with government health authorities. All clients are practicing Corona virus hygiene and best practice in the home. This is critically important to us as the elderly are particularly vulnerable.

In a range of settings including hospitals, aged care facilities and over the last 10 years having chosen to work with people living at home with care.
